Ad: American Hostage

The increase of journalists, photographers, doctors and aid workers being taken hostage has resulted in an increased death toll among these people. Fortunately, there are also case with a better, happier ending. One such story is American Hostage by Micah Garen and Marie-Hélène Carleton. Their ordeal (Micah being held hostage in southern Irag and Marie-Hélène working on his release in NYC) isn't typical but nonetheless gripping. The story is well-written, without the tough taalk one would find in a movie or fictional story. A great read.
